Since the 17th century writers have put pen to paper and wrote about these brave warriors and in many respects it is easier to gather information about a fighter who has been dead for over 200 years than of the fighters of today. Perhaps since the introduction of Facebook it gives many fans and fighters a platform to not only discuss various aspects of the sport but to arrange the fights themselves. I believe that education is the key factor if the tarnished image of Bareknuckle Boxing is ever to change, the fighters themselves have a certain responsibility to put across who they are and why they choose to compete in a sport often considered Barbaric.
